Chrome extension

Our Chrome extension:

• Reads the title of the IMDb page you are viewing to look up the corresponding WorthTheWatch score.
• Sends search queries you type in the extension popup to our API to return results.
• Caches API responses locally on your device using Chrome storage for up to 30 minutes to improve performance.
• Does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.
• Does not track your browsing history or activity.
• Does not load or execute any remote code.

Waitlist

If you voluntarily join our API waitlist, we store your email address solely to notify you when access becomes available. We will never share your email with third parties.

Third-party services

Our website is hosted on Netlify. We aggregate publicly available rating data from third-party sources (IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, etc.). We do not share any user data with these services.
